I have decided that I want the images on
my front cover to be of leading artists in the modern world of music. I wanted
the main image to be a medium long shot of the artist and I wanted them to be
striking a funky pose. This way I can attract the younger audiences and the
older one of my magazine target audience.
I also feel that this would be the best way to attract the audience but
also to make the magazine informal and look cool for the audience to be seen
read. I would also like some images on
the front cover of other artists, as I feel like this would be the most
effective. I would like to have on their more medium long shots and maybe even
a two shot to demonstrate a group.
On the contents page I would like to have
a close up image of an artist, just to keep the magazine alive and to make it
look inviting and aesthetic. I think that by having a small image it will break
away the text and by it being a close up, there will be nothing else to focus
on and just the artist in question.
On the double page spread I would like to
have around 3 images of the artist. I would like to have medium longs shots
again, but for them to be layered so that the images covers the whole of the
page. This would make the pictures look better more aesthetic and to make it
look more like a professional article. I may also adjust the photos to make
them more funky and appealing to the audience.
